Lucie for one year, coming from Boynton Beach. Before retirement, he was a restaurant manager for Llewellyn's in Morris Plains, N.J., and Rod's Ranch House in Madison, N.J. He was a member of St. Vincent de Ferrar Catholic Church, Delray Beach. Survivors include his daughters, Eileen T.

Coniglio, 69, a died Nov. 27, 2006, at St. Lucie Medical Center, Port St. Lucie. He was born in Mount Kisco, N.Y., and lived in Port St.

Lucie for nine years, coming from Fort Lauderdale. He served in the Army during the Korean War. Before retirement, he was of Lenny's Bar and Grill in Brewster, N.Y., for 18 years. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Joan Coniglio, of Port St. Lucie; son, Leonard Coniglio, of New Fairfield, and sister, Vivien Coniglio, of Port St.

FORT PIERCE Norman Lawrence Norman Clay Lawrence, 71, died Nov. 27, 2006, in Fort Pierce. He was born in Buffalo, N.Y., and lived in Fort Pierce since 1971, coming from Carlsbad, N.M. He served in the Navy. He was a carpenter.

FORT PIERCE David Lilly David P. Lilly, 94, died Nov. 20, 2006, in Fort Pierce. He was born in Mount Gilead, N.C., and lived in Fort Pierce since 1974, coming from Kure Beach, N.C. He served in the Civilian Conservation Corps during the Depression.

He owned and operated Lilly's Cottages of Kure Beach. Survivors include his wife, Faye Lilly, of Fort Pierce; daughter, Sylvia Fordham, of Bowie, seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. served in the Army during World War II. He played football and baseball for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, playing in two Sugar Bowls and one Cotton Bowl. He was a teacher and coach in the St. Lucie County School System for 31 years. He coached football and baseball for Dan McCarty High School and Central High School for 30 years, ending his career as the athletic director of Fort Pierce Central High School.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Evelyn Shay, of Lake Wales; sons, Christopher Shay, of Fort Pierce, Charles Shay, of Jensen Beach, and Patrick Shay, of Asheville, N.C.; and three grandchildren. She was born in Redhook, N.Y., and lived in Fort Pierce for 20 years, coming from East Haven, Conn. She owned a toy store. She was a master in the Indian Mound Grange No. 177 and volunteered at a local animal shelter. Survivors include her son, George Adams of Marlborough, three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Thi- BETTY ANTHOLZNER Betty 'Pat' Antholzner, 80, of Stuart, FL, died Saturday, November 25th Memorial Medical Center in Stuart. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was a winter resident of Stuart since 1984 and permanent resident since 2003 moving from Angola, NY. Prior to retirement, Pat was a Food Service Cashier for Lakeshore Central School District in Angola, NY for 15 years. Mrs. Antholzner was a member of St.

Joseph Catholic Church in Stuart and a member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary. She was also a volunteer Treasure Coast Humane Society. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, George C. Antholzner of Stuart, FI; one son, Nicholas Antholzner of Bradenton, FL; grandchildren; six great sisters, Church two Frances Orlando, FL, Dolly Herb of Melbourne, FL and one brother, Arthur Church, Jr. of Angola, NY.

PORT SALERNO James Thompson James Everett Thompa son, 78, died Nov. 21, 2006, at Manors at Hobe Sound. He was born in Fort Pierce. He served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a commercial fisherman for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Dwinda Thompson; daughters, Karen Tassone and Cheryl Charles De Maria Charles De Maria, born December 28, 1925 died peacefully on November 20, 2006 surrounded by his daughters and nephew Anthony Campo at Hospice of the Treasure Coast. He was born in the Coney Island section of Brooklyn, NY, and lived in Savanna Club, Port St. Lucie for the past 9 years. He served in the navy during WWII. worked as a truck driver fore the Berol Corp.

for 40 years where he was affectionately known as He leaves behind his devoted wife and best friend of 56 years, Gerrie De Maria nee Murray. A dedicated family man, Charles leaves behind his three daughters, Ellen Luongo (Robert) of Port St. Lucie, Janet Wade (Kevin) of Orlando and Karen La Barca of Port St Lucie; as well as his grandchildren, Jonathan, Emily and Matthew. Tornabene, 90, died Nov. 28, 2006, at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart. She was born in Chicago, and lived in Fort Pierce for 27 years, coming from Chicago. Before retirement, she was a claims manager with Blue Cross and Blue Shield Insurance. She was vice president of the St.

Lucie Women's Club and a volunteer at St. Lucie Christine Leodakis Christine Leodakis, 84 of Ft. Pierce, FL, died on November 25, 2006 after a year-long struggle with cancer. She was a kind, loving, gentle person whose greatest pleasure was to spend time with family and friends. She had a great sense of humor and a positive outlook on life that was inspirational.

An accomplished artist, she exhibited her work in local art shows and was the recipient of many awards. In 1982, when she. was diagnosed with macular degeneration, she received continued support through the Sight Seekers. Christine attended Parsons School of Design in New York on a full scholarship majoring in costume design and illustration. After graduation, she worked for designer Tina Lesser.

She raised her family in Buffalo, NY and E. Northport, Long Island and has lived in Florida for 30 years. She is survived by her daughters Ellie Donoian of Stuart and Irene (Bob) Hannigan of Lexington, MA. Other survivors include her brother James (Cressa) Drossos of Bayshore, NY, and three grandsons Matthew, Jameson, and Ted. Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, November 28, 2006, at St.

James Orthodox Church in Port St. Lucie, with interment at Fernhill Cemetery, Stuart. He was born in Waxhaw, North. Carolina and moved to Vero Beach in 1989. In 1944 while attending Jackson High School in Union County, NC, he was drafted and served in the US Army during World War II.

He continued to serve his country honorably as a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer in communications and retired from the US Air Force in July 1966. After military retirement he worked for Singer and later Van Guard Inc in Monroe, North Carolina. He was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church near his family home in Union County, NC, and was a member of the US Air Force Sergeants Association. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Sarah Walton Plyler formally of Sunnyside Monroe, NC; sister Judy Thompson of Columbia SC; brother Bryan Plyler of Waxhaw NC; daughter Emma Lou Plyler of Vero Beach; sons Lt. Col.

James Paul Plyler (USAF) of O'fallon Il, Roger Dennis Plyler of Huntersville NC, and Michael Gene Plyler of Sebastian Fl; 5 grandchildren; and 4 greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, James Moser Plyler of Rock Hill SC, a sister Florine Sarah Plyler of Waxhaw NC, and two grandsons.
