He coached football and baseball for Dan McCarty High School and Central High School for 30 years, ending his career as the athletic director of Fort Pierce Central High School.

Lucie Women's Club and a volunteer at St. Lucie Christine Leodakis Christine Leodakis, 84 of Ft. Pierce, FL, died on November 25, 2006 after a year-long struggle with cancer. She was a kind, loving, gentle person whose greatest pleasure was to spend time with family and friends. She had a great sense of humor and a positive outlook on life that was inspirational.
An accomplished artist, she exhibited her work in local art shows and was the recipient of many awards. In 1982, when she. was diagnosed with macular degeneration, she received continued support through the Sight Seekers. Christine attended Parsons School of Design in New York on a full scholarship majoring in costume design and illustration. After graduation, she worked for designer Tina Lesser.
She raised her family in Buffalo, NY and E. Northport, Long Island and has lived in Florida for 30 years. She is survived by her daughters Ellie Donoian of Stuart and Irene (Bob) Hannigan of Lexington, MA. Other survivors include her brother James (Cressa) Drossos of Bayshore, NY, and three grandsons Matthew, Jameson, and Ted. Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, November 28, 2006, at St.

He continued to serve his country honorably as a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer in communications and retired from the US Air Force in July 1966. After military retirement he worked for Singer and later Van Guard Inc in Monroe, North Carolina. He was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church near his family home in Union County, NC, and was a member of the US Air Force Sergeants Association.
